Enduring heartbreak is something that all of us don't want to experience, and yet we do because not all relationships are bound to last. It is sad, disappointing, and cruel to undergo this phase, but from there is no other way but to go up. When the pain of the heartbreak is gone and you can say that you've already moved on to some extent, the possibilities open up again. You may say that you love to live the single life, but there will be a time when you start longing for a relationship again. Then you ask, where do you go when you want to find true love?
Meeting people is one thing. Meeting people who will make very good friends for all eternity is something else. When you want to just meet new people, just go to a bar. It is very unlikely that you will meet someone whom you will love for the rest of your life in these places, because everybody is intoxicated with alcohol. If your goal is to find somebody who will give in to your earthly desires, then this is the place. If you are looking for genuine compassionate relationships, stay away. The truth is that it is difficult to answer your question. If it was so easy to find true love and there's a definite place where you can go to to get it, then nobody would be having heart problems now or nobody would be complaining that they have been single for many, many years. You can find a true love in the form of a common friend, a stranger whom you bump into at a coffee shop, a colleague at your workplace, or someone you get the chance to chat with in the Internet. Nobody exactly knows when and how it will come, but that's partly the reason why the hunt is exciting. Nobody knows when or where, so the best that you can do is to wait for that opportunity. In the meantime, enjoy life as it unfolds before you and find joy and solace in things that are within your control. After all, you don't have to find a partner in order to attain true happiness.
